LAWS 838 - Federal Indian LawCredits: 3 This seminar explores the basic legal principles that govern the relationship between American Indian tribes, the federal government, and the state governments. Topics covered will include jurisdictional issues arising between those governments, the source and scope of Indian sovereignty, and the recognition and enforcement of Indian land and treaty rights.
