LAWS 776 - International Business StructuresCredits: 2 A consideration of legal structures used by US businesses to undertake business outside the US and by foreign entities doing business in the US. The course uses case studies to examine tax and other legal reasons for choosing particular corporate and other business structures. Students will consider the strengths and weaknesses of various structures that are used in international business activities involving the trade of goods, technology and services (both outbound from the US and inbound to the US).
